Yes and No - Masks will be required by mandate in all public spaces of the hotel (the lobbies, the elevators, the lobby bar & the hallways) but once you are in the room for the wedding, guests are permitted to remove their masks.
The hotel's valet system is not currently running due to Covid, but guests can self-park at 200 W Randolph Street. Parking costs $30 for overnight parking and guests will have in-and-out privileges at the garage. If you are a guest at the hotel and need to unload bags, you can park in front of the hotel with your hazard lights on while you unload your car and check in. If you do not have bags, you can head straight to the garage. Once you park, please bring your garage ticket to the front desk and the staff will adjust your parking price and give you a QR code that can be scanned while exiting the garage. If you want to use the in-and-out privileges, you will scan this QR code at the gate to re-enter the garage.
We encourage guests to arrive at 5:00pm for complementary champagne in the grand lobby of the hotel prior to the ceremony.
Our wedding dress code is semi-formal. Cocktail attire and suits are perfect but if you feel like going all out after a year of rocking sweat pants at home, by all means, a tux or gown are also welcome! (The venue is very swanky and the bridal party will all be in tuxes and long gowns so you will not be alone in your fanciness if you choose to go all out!)
Although the bride & groom do not mind AT ALL if you match our bridal party, some guests try to intentionally choose a different color for their outfits. In the bridal party, the women will be wearing floor-length burgundy gowns and the men will be in navy blue tuxedos with black lapels. Kelly & Ryan do not mind at all if you match so please do not feel pressure to base your outfit on this information.
If your invitation says "and guest," please feel free to bring a plus one. If not, we would prefer that it was just you. Thank you so much for your understanding.
We love your kids - we really do! But we want our wedding to be a night off for you (and we're still facing a pretty strict Covid-related headcount). Unless your child's name was listed on your invitation, please leave the kiddos at home.
