Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your children, no, we want the adults to have fun and be ADULTS! They are more than welcome to attend the church ceremony but we would like our reception to be a 21+ party! There are no exceptions, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately, if your card only has your name this means you do not have an extra invite. We would like to keep our wedding as personal as can be.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please wear your best! Yes, that means leave your jeans and flannels at home. Please refrain from any white or cream colored dresses.

What do we do in between ceremony and cocktail hour?

Answer

The doors for cocktail hour will not open until 4:30. There will be coolers of non alcoholic refreshments on their porch until then. Please go out and enjoy Honesdale! We highly recommend the White Owl for drinks or you could take a walk through Narrowsburg and enjoy the river as much as we do!

What kind of rooms are at Bryn Mawr?

Answer

Bryn mawr offers cabins, hotel-like rooms, and Inn rooms. If you're super curious you could check out their website for the fine details. Please DO NOT contact Bryn Mawr directly for bookings, that will be handled by bride and groom. Hotel style room:$106 “ hotel rooms which consist of two double beds and a private bathroom in each.” Inn: $95.40 “They are single beds. Every two inn rooms shares a bathroom in the middle which is why they are considered semi-private.” Cabin: $42.40 per person “Our cabins are another one of our group accommodations. The cabins, like the lodges, consist of bunk beds and large shared bathrooms with private bathroom and shower stalls in each.” They also have two lodges which are great for families that would love to share some extra time together. Inquiry if you’d like! All of these prices are per night and include Pennsylvania state sales tax. Checks made out to EITHER Peter Kelly or Katelyn Weist will be accepted. We also have Venmo. Zelle can also be accepted. Cash is always great too!

Can I leave my car at Bryn Mawr?

Answer

We have the entire venue the whole weekend. If you are having too much fun to drive, hop in with a friend and pick up your car later in the weekend. We want to keep October 5 a happy date!

Do you have any food restrictions/allergies?

Answer

Please let Katie or Pete know if you have any allergies so they can let the venue know ahead of time so your tummy can be full! This includes: vegetarian options, gluten allergies, or lactose intolerance!

Open bar?

Answer

It wouldn't be a Weist/Kelly wedding without an open bar! There will be beer, wine, and choice selections of liquor. Please be kind and take care of our lovely bartenders!

AFTER PARTY

Answer

To show our love and appreciation for everyone who comes, we will be holding an after party in the trophy room that is attached to the main reception area. There will be some late night snacks, music, and more drinks!

Morning after...

Answer

If you are coming from far away.. no need to rush out of your rooms! There will be an optional brunch in the trophy room. Please let Katie or Peter know by RSVP date if you would like to attend so we have a headcount!

Is your RSVP not working?

Answer

Please use the “man of the household” to enter your RSVP. If that does not work contact Katie or Pete and we can get it to work for you
