Are Uber and Lyft reliable transportation options?

Answer

We want to give our guests a heads up that Uber & Lyft availability is very hit or miss in town. Cabs to and from the Kalamazoo airport may vary. We've chosen the hotels listed on the Travel section of the website site to give everyone safe and convenient walks to and from the reception.

Where do I park for the reception?

Answer

If you plan on driving to the reception there is reserved parking next to the venue located at 320 AmVets Mem Pkway. The entrance is on the left hand side of the one way street, and there is a "YWCA" sign overlooking the parking lot. It is directly across from USPS and the giant "Columbia Hotel" painting.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail attire is recommended. No jeans, please.

What type of food is being served for dinner?

Answer

We will be having a buffet style meal with options for everyone. You will be able to request a meat or vegan meal with your RSVP. If you have concerns around a specific food allergy please reach out to Kelly or Katherine when you submit your RSVP.

What time does the party start?

Answer

We are having a small, private ceremony earlier in the day. We are inviting everyone to come celebrate at the reception kicking off at 4:45pm with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Please plan on arriving no later than 5:30pm with dinner beginning at 5:45pm. Live music will start at 7pm. Please see the Schedule section of the website for more details.

Yes! There will be a live band. Please come prepared with your best dancing shoes.
