Kelly & Brad found love in a hopeless place - on Tinder. After swiping right and a couple awkward "hey" messages, they decided to meet up in person for a drink at Mouton. That first night can only be described as magical - literally, Brad busted out some magic tricks and corny dad jokes - risky move, but luckily for him, Kelly had spent her whole life building up her own arsenal of puns and popsicle jokes so the two easily hit it off. They set a new record for longest first blind date ever and spent five hours laughing and just truly enjoying each others' company. They shared their first kiss goodnight that evening and never looked back.

Anyone who knows Brad knows that he loves surprises, so naturally the proposal was no exception. With the help of some friends, Brad organized a surprise "birthday party" at a bar called Brewcadia. Kelly was so surprised at first that she she just kept looking behind her and saying, "wait - is this for ME?" But the surprises didn't end there. Brad had also arranged to make one of Kelly's lifelong dreams come true - to be a contestant on Wheel of Fortune. Brad re-created the famous gameshow right there in a bar in downtown Columbus complete with a wheel, "Matt Sajak" (soon to be Reverend Matt Sajak as he will also now be officiating our wedding) and two other contestants. Unfortunately for Brad, it turns out Kelly is not nearly as good at the game as she thought she was, but as luck would have it (along with some serious rigging and poor score keeping), Kelly miraculously made it to the final bonus round where the answer to the puzzle was "Will you marry me?" Kelly called out the answer and then turned around to find Brad on one knee with a ring. He said nothing (he claims to have blacked out), so on a technicality, Kelly asked Brad to marry her and then answered her own question, snagged a ring from Brad's hand and put it on her own finger. The surprise birthday party quickly turned into a surprise engagement party, and Kelly & Brad can't wait to have all of their favorite people together again in the fall to celebrate their wedding!
