Maid of Honor
My sister by blood, bestie by choice. Julia and I are 18 months apart, and I literally can not remember my life without her. She is one of the smartest, kindest and most resilient people that I have ever known. I am so proud of who she is and I could not imagine marrying Christopher without "Juju" there. -H
Maid of Honor
As the baby of the family, Abbigail will forever have a piece of my heart. The day she was born our lives had changed forever in the best possible way. The Swartout "dynamic trio" would be incomplete without her. Abbigail is one of the most strong willed, funny and smart people that I know and I could not imagine marrying Christopher without her by my side! -H
Bridesmaid
My soon-to-be (officially) sister in law keeps it real. I always know who to count on when I need someone to tell it to me straight. Sami and I have grown close over the past five years, even though she will tell you that at first, "she wasn't sure about me". We joke that Christopher could never get rid of me, because Sami and I will always be a part of each other's lives! -H
Bridesmaid
My sister from another mister! Well.. technically cousin... but close enough! As a child, Whit was the "fun babysitter"- from burning CD's on LimeWire, to watching "The Dust Factory" on repeat. I could not have asked for a better older sister growing up. "Miss. Lavoie" will be "Mrs. Cook" in June 2021, as she is a fellow bride to be! The greatest role model, and friend! -H
Bridesmaid
Alyssa and I met in the fifth grade when we were assigned to sit next to each other in Mrs. Irwin's class. Since I moved to California in the seventh grade, we have taken nine trips across the country to see each other. The famous Maggi Myers quote is the perfect way to describe our friendship- "Together forever, never apart. Maybe in distance but never in heart". -H
Bridesmaid
Sarah and I met when I was in the eighth grade, and her Dad was our soccer coach. We spent a great deal of our adolescence together, choosing matching outfits to wear to soccer practice, watching Jersey Shore, and gossiping about boys. Sarah and I went to college together, had the same major, and tried our very best to take the same classes. She had a way of making the most unbearable classes, enjoyable. She is the life of the party, my sunshine gal! -H
Bridesmaid
Zoe (without the "Y")! My bonus baby sister. Whether we are at work, or singing our hearts out at a concert, she never fails to make me laugh. She is the sassiest girl you will ever meet, and she never fails to tell me how it is! Zoe has a heart of gold, and when she is not hanging out with one of her TWELVE siblings, she is probably shopping for Crocs or quality Tupperware (two of her favorite things). I am so grateful to have a friend like Zoe! PS- be sure to wish her a happy birthday at the wedding! -H
Best Man
Frankie is one of the coolest, most relaxed guys that I have ever known. I met Frankie in 2007, and we have spent countless hours playing Runescape together, since. If you are ever wondering about baseball statistics, he is your guy! Frankie is a diehard Oakland A's fan, wine connoisseur, and gamer. Frankie will be making the trek from him home in Grants Pass, OR, to be at our wedding. Hannah and I can not wait to see him! -C
Groomsman
Matt is the oldest of my brothers and a proud UC Davis student. He is an incredible artist and has the most remarkable memory. If you ever want to play trivia or Scattergories with Matt, be prepared to lose! I used to watch Matt skateboard when I was a kid, and I always thought I had the coolest big brothers in the world. I am so lucky to have Matt as both my brother, and friend. -C
Groomsman
My brother Bryant one of the kindest people that you will ever meet. He has a passion for teaching music, and working with children. Bry is an extraordinary musician, and whatever he does, he does it with all of his heart. He stands out in a crowd, not only by his bright purple crutches and his stylish clothes, but also by his contagious laugh. -C
Groomsman
If at the wedding you are looking to make small talk about rap music or true crime- Bobby is the man! He and I have been friends since my sophomore year of high school, and we have been close ever since. Bobby has a great sense of humor, he is an incredible musician, and a wonderful friend. Truly the Henry Zebrowski to my Ben Kissel! -C
Groomsman
Herc is quite literally my "brother from another mother". When his Dad married my Mom in 2012, our household doubled in size, and love. I actually knew Herc prior to our parents getting together. In the sixth grade on a class field trip to Sly Park, I noticed that one of the kids from another school had a bloody nose in the pool. I said "Hey! You have a bloody nose!". That kid was Herc. Who would have thought that five years later he would be my brother?! -C
Groomsman
Brady and I met in 2007, and we have been getting in trouble together since! From jumping on the light rail without paying, staying up until all hours of the night gaming, and dousing our Tostitos pizzas with hot sauce (Hannah thinks this is so gross)- we grew up together. Brady is remarkably caring and funny. He loves drifting cars, and working hard to pay for the parts he breaks in doing so. (Side note to Brady- the wedding will be "BYO Mountain Dew") -C
Groomsman
Bo Anthony Ryan Brack changed my world when he made his debut in 2012. I remember texting Hannah a picture of him the day he was born. He was so small and sweet. Now, a short eight years later, he is a wild man! I am so proud of the kid that he is growing up to be, although I sometimes miss that curly haired baby, knocking on my door every five minutes. Hannah and I can not wait to see him! -C
Officiant
Grace is one of Christopher's older sisters, and quite literally an angel on earth. She is the kindest, most compassionate soul that you will ever meet. The love that she has for her brothers is apparent, and even though she is the second-to-youngest, she is a caretaker at heart. During the holidays, you will find her in the kitchen cooking family recipes, fixing plates for her brothers, and making sure everyone has what they need. Grace is a cat mom to her sweet baby, Yzma! The cutest little sphinx ever. Be sure you ask to see pics at the wedding!
Flower Girl
Little Miss. Zoey (with the "Y"), our niecy. Sami's daughter, Zoey has been a light in my life since the moment I met her. Watching her grow up has been one of my greatest joys in life. Zoey is spunky, smart, and full of charisma! She is the reason that I wanted to become a teacher, and I thank God (and Sami) for her, everyday! -H
Flower Girl
Sweet Adeline. I met Addy when she was one year old, and she has brought so much happiness into my life since then. The day I started as a teacher, I went over to the "baby side" of the school and there she was, in tears. I asked the teacher why she was sad, and she informed me that it was Adeline's first day also. I held her for most of that day, and we got through it together! Adeline's Mom (Christina) and I have become dear friends over the past five years, and I have learned so much about how I hope to be as a mother, by watching her with Adeline. Addy is one of the smartest, kindest and most self aware children that I have ever met. She loves to sing, dance, swim and tell jokes. I am so excited for her to be a part of our special day! -H
Usher
Vivian or "Viv" is Adeline's older sister! Viv is wise beyond her years, and every time that we are together she teaches me something new. Did you know that if you pinch the skin at the joint in your thumb and it stands up that means you are dehydrated? I didn't until she taught me! Vivian is the biggest animal lover that I know, and she has an impeccable taste in music! Viv is great help when I babysit Addy. Vivian reads with her sister, and when Addy gets stuck on a word, she very patiently waits for her to sound it out. If Addy is ever feeling frustrated, Viv is right there to encourage her to keep trying! She truly has a heart of gold, and I am so happy that she will be a part of this special day! -H
Ring Bearer
We can not wait to meet you sweet Delilah! Our good friends, the Larsens, are expecting their first little one in March, 2021.
