Staybridge Suites Columbia Baltimore

We have had an amazing experience with booking rooms and suites through Staybridge, and hope that everyone joining us from out of town can stay with us at this hotel. You will find a variety of one and two bed studio suites (for smaller parties of 2-4) as well as larger two bedroom suites (that can accommodate larger groups of 6-8!). Please make sure to book your room(s) at your earliest convenience and no later than September 30th to ensure you get a spot in our block. (The attached link does not work well from mobile devices, so if you need to Group Code it is ZZM and under McDonough-Johnson Wedding. Also, feel free to adjust the dates based on when you will be arriving/departing; the group rate is available for several days both before and after the wedding.) Also, fear not that this hotel is 15 miles from the Zoo, as we will be providing optional shuttle transportation between the two locations. There will be some parking at the Zoo, but why not allow our lovely shuttle to transport you to and from? (More information to follow.)

Flight

Baltimore Washington International Airport

BWI is the closest airport to both the wedding ceremony/reception and hotel, and is a quick ride-share (Uber) or airport shuttle away. We will be providing transportation between the hotel and wedding ceremony/reception location, so you only need to worry about getting to the hotel itself.

Miscellaneous Notes

The Maryland Zoo is located on the outskirts of Druid Hill Park in Baltimore City, and is quick drive to both Baltimore and Howard Counties for other activities. Please reach out to either Kelli or Mike for suggestions as to what to do with your downtime if you plan on joining us early or staying late! While there is parking available at the Zoo itself, we are reserving the lot immediately in front of the reception site for immediate and elderly family members who will not be taking the shuttle with us. Additional parking will be available along the driveway between the ceremony and reception sites and the ancillary parking lot immediately off Mansion House Drive, which is a less than 5 minute walk between the two locations. Remember: we will be providing shuttle service for anyone interested that is staying at the hotel in Columbia. Please let us know on the RSVP your driving/shuttle preferences so that we can let the Zoo know how many cars to expect!
