Rob & Kellie were two strangers who met on Hinge (yes, a dating app) in the summer of 2020. We bonded over our jobs as nurses during the pandemic. Our first date was walking on a trail in a Florida botanical garden. Rob decided to be adventurous and hop a fence to an off-limits area where he fell into the mud not once, but twice, and we shared laughs over his clumsiness. Afterwards, we talked over beers, sharing our love for music and the outdoors. After our first date, we quickly became attached at the hip. We spent our free time hanging out and getting to know each other. By fall 2020, we were officially boyfriend & girlfriend. Within a year, we adopted our dog, Nova, and moved in together. We then decided to do travel nursing, moving all over the country. For the next two years, we would end up working in over five states together. In winter 2023, Rob proposed to Kellie exactly how we started, on a hike! We were in the Olympic National Park in Washington State. It was intimate and special, just like how our wedding ceremony will be.
