High Bank Weeks after moving our conversation off of Hinge (sorry grandma we didn’t actually meet at church) we officially met at High Bank. Justin starved Kellie by suggesting no food and only drinks. He also left her wondering whether he was actually interested with no goodbye kiss and a text later that evening reading “Home.” Fear not, Kellie’s friend, Katie, eased her mind and encouraged her to look past this. Kellie is glad she did 😉
Trash Pandas Kellie’s coed soccer team, Trash Pandas, was in need of a player, so Justin’s footwork came out of the woodworks! We formed a strong bond over our love for the sport, but let’s get things straight this is a rec-league. As Justin has said “we have DNA for an all-star Rec-league player who loves a beer after the game.” Sorry future kids.
Los Angelas, CA A couple months after meeting off the internet, we took a chance on traveling together. Turns out, we make a great duo - Justin makes all the plans and Kellie shows up on time! Justin & Kellie stayed with a couple of friends for a week. Our favorite memory was our day trip to Catalina Island. We also unlocked a new tradition while traveling: Breakfast at the same diner every morning.
Tillie Andrews Justin finally convinced Kellie to adopt a companion for Cooper in hopes Tillie would turn out as perfect as Coops. Spoiler alert: Cooper and Tillie have opposite personalities 🙃 BUT we love our babies equally!! Tillie quickly became Justin’s frisbee companion while Cooper continues to be Kellie’s snuggle bug.
Move-In Together Turns out, Tillie was not born to be a part-time 600 sq ft apartment puppy. So we gave her a full time, fenced in back yard! In living together, Justin has learned Kellie’s clothes addiction also means all closets are compromised. And Kellie has learned to not clean up the 10 paper towels left on the counters as he “will be coming back to use them again”.
Dance Partners Over the years we have celebrated nearly 20 of our closest friends and family's weddings! You would think that we would have perfected our dance moves with all that practice, but prepare yourself to witness a lot of “bounce moves” on the dance floor Aug, 2nd 🕺🏽💃🏽
“Will you Marry Me?” It was a typical Saturday morning, walking our dogs at our favorite park, Prairie Oaks. This park is near to our hearts as it is a place we've made several life decisions together, like the big move-in! Weeks prior to the proposal, Justin "practiced" with Kellie's best friend, Paige, as she agreed to sneakily take pictures for us. Justin's planning skills continued to shine through as he coordinated a party to celebrate with our close friends later that evening. We truly felt so touched and loved and Sean, thank you for being the weekend's decoy ;)
