San Antonio River Walk
Based on the architecture of Venice and built as a flood control, the San Antonio River Walk is a great way to see the city. You can stroll along the river to see the shops and restaurants or take a river boat tour to learn about the history of the city. Fun Fact: Kellie and her brother Brian used to drive the boats during College as a summer job.
Government Canyon State Natural Area
Lovely State Park with 40 miles of easy trails to stroll along. If you’re lucky- you might be able to see the dinosaur tracks in the rocks!
Boerne
Cute little German town less than an hour north of San Antonio. It is known for their German Architecture and Food. Check out Richter Bakhaus for their Texas Sized Cinnamon Rolls!

Jeff & Kellie’s go-to spot for Filipino Food! They have a restaurant, bakery, and small market. Lechon Kawali & Adobo is highly recommended.
The Cracked Mug Coffee House
Kellie’s Favorite Cafe, situated in Old Town Helotes, just minutes from Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish.
Japanese Tea Garden
Beautiful Botanical Garden that has free admission and surprisingly, no tea.
Natural Bridge Caverns
Local Spot with a safari, zip line course, and paved trail through the largest known commercial Cave in Texas. Temperature is 70 degrees year round.
SeaWorld San Antonio
Theme Park & Aquarium. Does not have manatees :( Fun fact: Kellie wanted to be a SeaWorld trainer when she was younger and got to touch a beluga whale!
Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Theme Park & Water Park. “Six Flags” stand for each of the six flags that have flown over Texas: Spain, France, Mexico, Texas, Confederate States, and United States.
San Antonio Zoo
Lovely way to spend a day! Will be getting a new Gorilla sections soon. Also does not have manatees :(
