Question

What was the proposal like?

Answer

Low key and romantic, totally perfect! Chris hid the ring in his bass case for a week. On a rare Sunday with no plans we went for a beer at Trilium Brewery so Chris stashed the ring in his pocket. He had no idea when or how he was going to ask, he just knew he wanted to ask me that day. I found some fancy glasses at the brewery I thought would make nice toasting glasses for our eventual wedding and Chris bought them. On the way to the car I joked about having toasting glasses before even being engaged. That’s when he dropped to one knee with the ring out and asked “Kelleen Erin Lynch, will you marry me?” I’m fairly sure I said “are you serious?!” Before I said (obviously) yes!!! We picked up some very good champagne, went out for a nice dinner and got to share the exciting news with all our friends and family ❤️

Question

Can I bring a date or my kids?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Definitely! We know some of our guests are vegetarian or vegan and options will be indicated on your invitations. Please indicate any specific allergies on your response card so we can accurately convey it to the venue.

Question

Is there a cash or open bar?

Answer

We will be hosting an open bar for beer and wine. Liquor will be available for cash purchase only. The Villa does not have the ability to process credit or debit cards. Bringing cash to tip the bartenders is appreciated!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample free parking at the Villa. Parking attendants will also be present to direct guests to the correct lot and entrance.

Question

Is the wedding going to be affected by the COVID-19 pandemic?

Answer

Unfortunately it was! At the time of our wedding in January the indoor capacity was limited to 10 people total. Luckily we have small immediate families (plus Chris’s sister and brother-in-law in Australia on FaceTime!) and were able to still get married on our date. We moved our reception to Friday June 4, 2021. With Phase 4 re-opening guidelines we will be able to host our full guest list in the gorgeous Grand Ballroom...WITH A DANCE FLOOR! Masks will be required as per Massachusetts and venue guidelines. Social distancing guidelines will also be maintained to help keep everyone safe and comfortable while helping us properly celebrate our marriage!

Question

When will I find out more information about the new reception?

Answer

Hopefully you received your invites which led you here...If you’ve found this page the other sections should answer most questions but please email for anything you don’t see answered here!

Question

I have a question not answered here- what’s the best way to contact you?

Answer
