We're getting married!

Tommy and Kellie initially met freshmen year of college through mutual friends. They met again in a religion class as sophomores where Kellie started to form a crush on Tommy. She intentionally joined a study group he was in to get to know him better, even if he couldn't remember her name. After many subtle attempts to get Tommy's attention, Kellie made it clear and gave him her phone number. They hit it off pretty quickly with their common love for Jim Carrey by communicating through movie quotes. After a dinner date, Tommy made it official by asking Kellie to be his girlfriend on January 24th, 2014.

After almost 7 and a half years, Tommy finally popped the question in Bemidji at the Maple Ridge Golf Course. The 9th, and final hole, is always a competition between Kellie's family for whom is able to hit the ball closest to the pin. Kellie was the last to go and was focused on her shot. After she stuck it on the green, Tommy was on his knee behind her with the ring in hand. It was the easiest, and best yes of her life.
