There will be more space at your dinner table than at a usual wedding reception. In NJ, dinner tables are limited to 8 people ONLY...due to covid (what else is new?) Jason and I have worked way too hard on the seating chart because 8 people per table is actually harder than it sounds. Please do not hop to another table for dinner. After the food is eaten and the dancing begins, feel free to go see your friend at another table (lol).
Wear your mask people!!! Anyone attending the ceremony at the Church MUST wear a mask at all times. No exception. The Carriage House is asking that everyone wear a mask upon entering. After inside the choice is yours. No one will bug you to put it on, but please be respectful of others who rather social distance or wear masks the whole time.
Unfortunately, anyone who RSVPs 'no' will not be able to change this at a later date...for many obvious reasons, but covid-19 restrictions has made this more pertinent.
To allow all wedding guests, including parents, a night of relaxation and fun, we respectfully ask that no children attend the ceremony or the reception.
Formal attire/Black tie optional. According to The Knot, this means men should wear a formal suit and tie, and women should wear a formal dress (gown or cocktail length) or pantsuit.
The Carriage House is approximately a 45-50 minute drive from the church. There are 2 routes - the AC Expressway ($4.25 toll) or Route 322 (multiple lights). Both routes are easy and smooth drives. We recommend using a GPS since there are more than a few ways to go.
Transportation will not be provided for guests from the hotel to the reception or vice versa since we are not blocking rooms at a specific hotel. We ask that guests drink responsibly and to use a designated driver, Uber, or Lyft, to safely return to their hotel or home.
Ceremony - St. Mary's church provides ample parking to the left of the church. No fee. Reception - The Carriage House provides free (YES FREE!) valet parking. You may also park your own car if you wish. There is plenty of parking to the left of the venue building.
