Kelli Ann & Nicholas James

Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who will be joining us walking down the aisle! These amazing people have made such a big impact on us that we asked them to be in our wedding party. We hope you love them all as much as we do! P.S. Each person wrote their own bio, which allows you to see their true character!

Kelli Michel

Bride

I go by many names whether it’s Kelijah, KellBell, Kel, massage guru, but according to Nick I am Kelli Ann! When I first met Nick, I was taking care of him and healing his injury in the athletic training room at high school! Little did I know is how sweet and kind this awkward boy was and I am so thankful blessed I got to know him more and more every day since! Through all the ups and downs we went through he was always by my side like a puppy to his owner, and I can honestly say, I am so excited and blessed to be his wife. Currently I am finishing out my Doctorate degree at Carroll University! When I am not studying, I love to spending time with my family and friends and cute puppies (kipper and kass)! Fun fact: my hidden talent is juggling!

Nicholas Gursky

Groom

Hi! I am Nick Gursky, the second in command... I hope! I first met Kelli as she fixed my ankle back in highschool. She made the mistake when she decided to give me food! And everyday I would come by and she would always spare some just for me. Soon after, she let me in her life and now I can sleep on her lap and get head scratches! And every morning when I am with her she sets out a plate of food for me to enjoy. Unfortunately I am very far away and currently live in California, where I am serving in the Marine Corps.

Katie Michel

Maid of Honor

Kelli is my younger sister, best friend, and all around great human being. She is pretty funny and she laughs at most of my jokes. That’s why her and Nick get along so well because he laughs at her jokes. I remember chilling in the living room and Kelli saying a pun and Nick dying laughing but believe me it wasn’t that funny. I have seen Nick and Kelli’s relationship develop from young high school sweet hearts to dating across the country. Kelli and I both enjoy playing soccer, hanging out with friends and family, and being outdoors. Some people call me a lite beer snob. I am excited to be apart of Kelli and Nick’s wedding day!

Connor Morris

Best Man

I am Nick’s longest best friend and I knew him since the first day of Kindergarten. Nick would always pick on me, but I knew it was true friendship from the start! Ever since Nick introduced me to Kelli on our Track team, I was so happy he found someone who can deal with his sass and odd ideas. I am currently getting my degree at UW Milwaukee and I am a huge math nerd. You can either find me doing nerdy things like dungeons and dragons or being an idiot with the ladies.

Faith Terlecki

Bridesmaid

I love my family, boyfriend, and Jesus more than anything. In my spare time from work (so basically, what spare time?), I like to sing, play piano, and catch up with friends. I graduated from Carroll University in May 2019 with my Bachelors of Science in Healthcare Administration, and minors in Communication, and Management and Leadership. I had the pleasure of meeting Kelli freshman year at Carroll and although we were not close friends then, she is absolutely one of my best friends now! I am so thankful to have such an amazing friend in my life, and I feel so incredibly blessed to be able to stand by Kelli and Nicks side as they say I do!

Joe Ditscheit

Groomsman

My name is Joseph Ditscheit. I grew up in Union Grove two blocks away from Nicky’s house. I went to school at Union Grove High School, and Gateway Technical College, for welding. I like to do anything outdoors including hunting, fishing, and shooting. I’m excited that I’m able to be there for this important day, with a man I consider a brother, Nicky, and a great friend, Kelli! Congrats to you both and can't wait for the special day!

Melita Vellian

Bridesmaid

My friend crush turned not only into friendship but into family. Kelli and I met in undergrad but became close friends during Physical Therapy school. Our adventures extend from the Salty Toad in Waukesha all to way out to late nights in San Francisco, CA. I'm so thankful for this girl and I'm very excited to be a part of her big day!

Nick Ditscheit

Groomsman

My family and I have been friends of the Gursky's for as long as I could remember and Nick and I have been friends for almost as long. He is one of my closest friends, so close, in fact, my Mother calls him one of her adopted sons. Hell growing up he would come over and we would have to do choirs together. I have lived my whole life in Union Grove and am currently a psychology major at Ripon College. I am an avid hunter and like hiking. I am really bad at writing things like this so I apologize if it seems unorganized. Kelli is by far the best person for Nicky to marry. She's the only one that I've seen handle him so well (I say that in the most loving way possible). They make a great team and will have a wonderful life together.

Jessica Neevel

Bridesmaid

I’m Jess! I’ve known Kelli since freshman year of college and we grew close our junior year. We bonded over our love of studying at coffee shops and would frequent Starbucks to study at. We're both still at Carroll University for graduate school but I’m getting a masters in occupational therapy. I recently got married and Kelli was one of my bridesmaids! I also met Nick that weekend and was amazed at how perfectly they fit together! I can’t wait to be a part of their special day! :)

Chris Miller

Groomsman

My name is Christofer Miller. I am currently working as a deli employee at Piggly Wiggly. I have known the groom since I was a kid and he introduced me to the bride. I am excited to be a part of the wedding and to see Nick make either the best or worst decision of his life! Congrats Nick and Kelli! P.S. Little did you know, I am a twin!

Marina Chen

Bridesmaid

I have known Kelli since freshman year of college. I remember on move in day, Kelli and one of her friends pops her head in my door and gave such an energetic welcome! I knew from that day we would be great friends throughout college. I am thankful that I have such a great study buddy and best friend by my side throughout my classes in PT school. When I’m not busy studying, I like to enjoy my free time traveling, visiting coffee shops, and basically doing anything outdoors. I am so excited to be a part of Kelli and Nicks wedding!

Ben Vasey

Groomsman

My name's Ben Vasey. Born and raised in Kenosha, WI and grew up with Nick for basically my entire childhood. I went to Shoreland Lutheran High School and am currently a Glazier for Klein-Dickert Glass out of Pewaukee. I enjoy basically anything with a motor and play video games pretty frequently. But my life basically revolves around cars! We have been family friends with the Gursky's for so long and will continue to be forever! Congrats Nick and Kelli, who would have known you two would be my best friends.

Megan Jorgensen

Bridesmaid

Megan Walters aspires to build a gingerbread house worthy of Gingy from Shrek. When she is not crafting she is typically hanging out with friends or family. She met Kelli in tennis at high school and loves her spontaneity and cleverness as well as her positivity. P.S. soon Kelli and I will be friends that turn into family (ha, see what I did there!)!

Michael Gursky

Groomsman

My name’s Michael. I am the groom’s big brother. I have known nick since day one, and he has been a pain in my butt ever since. Kelli, on the other hand, I actually met through my wife, Caitlin, in high school. Other than her shoulder massages…she too has been a pain in the butt. Although both are pains in the butts, they are family and always will be, and I will always be there for them. Congrats. The end.

Kevin Jorgensen

Officiant

Hi my name is Kevin and I’m ready to officiate this kickass wedding! I’ve known Kelli and Nick for as far back as I can remember. Kelli was always the girl playing soccer at our family reunions and Nick is my best friends brother, whom I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing grow from the little kid following his brother, to the take-the-lead marine he is. A fun fact about me is I failed public speaking in college, so get ready for some spectacular officiating. What makes me most excited about the wedding is seeing these two wonderful people continue to grow their immense love for each other. You will never find to people whom complete each other more than these two high school sweethearts! <3
