We’re renewing our vows!

We met at Kelli’s uncle’s house. Nancy was my uncle’s neighbor. I had just moved here from NY with my daughter on a whim not knowing anyone and she was one of the first people I met! She was married at the time but we started what would be a wonderful friendship. A year later it blossomed into dating then a relationship. 2 years later we married. We have been married for 12 years!

We we’re going back to Kelli’s hometown to visit. There were a couple times in the past we had talked about renewing our vows but then an event happened. Nancy lost her father suddenly/Covid/Alexis got pregnant with our grandson. Something always came in the way. This year Kelli decided with our new little edition to our family (Niko) and all of the other life events it was time to ask Nancy to renew our vows. Kelli planned with her friend who was a photographer a photo session on the lake that would disguise Kelli asking Nancy to renew vows. In the middle of the session Kelli asked Nancy and she said YES! That has lead to us planning our vow renewal celebration!
