We will be there a little earlier to do a walk-through, but everyone is welcome to check-in after about 3PM. Then we can disperse and either go grab dinner in town, or you can do that first before rolling in to settle into your room arrangements.
Castle Welcome & Games
7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Our hosts at the castle will give us a formal welcome with a brief history of the castle, and we'll toast the start of our celebration! We will have some light bites and play bridal shower-esque trivia games for your entertainment.

Backyard Croquet Tournament
1:00 pm
Whoever is around/back from exploring and interested, is invited to join our Backyard Croquet tournament! We'll be playing in doubles on teams and all learning together. The winner will be very highly admired.
Murder Mystery Dinner
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Please dress up in alignment with your character!
A "Knight of Murder" awaits us! We have a murder mystery adventure in store, featuring a bride and groom to-be set in medieval times. Details and character assignments will be sent to you separately. This will be part of the night's formal, catered dinner with everyone at the castle.
After Party
8:30 pm
This is our version of a bachelorette/bachelor party- we're going to split up with our guy/girl friends for some quality time, walk in to town for some celebration drinks at black bull pub, etc and meet back up together before calling it a night! Most places close down by 10pm, and the castle curfew is 1am.

Tea Party Brunch

Semi-Formal and Garden Attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints, slacks and button downs, fun hats or fascinators, etc
This is our pre-wedding meal! We're catering a tea party brunch at the castle, and dressing for the occasion is encouraged. After this we will split up to start getting ready for the afternoon ceremony.
Ceremony
3:30 pm
Please wear colors in alignment with our scheme for the day (jewel toned purple, red, marigold, green, navy) with solid colors for the ladies, and either a kilt or suit for the menfolk.
Held in the drawing room unless weather permits us to be out in front of the castle. *You can rent a kilt ahead of time if you wish to join in, just search up "kilt for hire" and you'll want to do this ASAP for measurements and availability. Our respective clans are MacLachlan (Michael) and MacLellan (Kelli) for tartans- but we encourage you to represent your own family's clan if you wish, or choose any number of traditional tartan prints. Otherwise, a suit is just fine. Ladies can also incorporate a tartan sash or other accessories if desired! We're for a reason, after all!
