We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off! Unless your adult kids are explicitly named on the invite, please know we love them but we request it an adult only night.

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.
Semi-formal, please. Error on the side of dressing up versus down. For colors, light pastels (pinks, lavenders, blues etc.) or earthy tones (light greens, soft browns, etc.), avoiding bright, neon, cream, white, red and black colors is preferable.
