Our wedding day decorations will be filled with Fall colors of purples, wines, and burgundy shades. We are asking our guests to dress to match our decor and be a piece of the whole experience! This means dark reds, purples, dusty pinks, shades of black, and of course darker wine shades. Please refrain from wearing white, ivory, beige, bone, or any light color resembling white. We're requesting our guests take this opportunity to dress to the nines and go all out! Floor length gowns or more formal cocktail dresses for the ladies (or even a trendy pant suit!) and button down dress shirts, blazers, slacks, or a suit for the gentlemen. The weather will be chilly at night if you step outside from the indoor reception space. Just like any other fairytale, it all started at a frat party. Kelli was less than two months into college and Ivan was less than two years away from graduating. Circling the block in her roommates car, Ivan enthusiastically jumped into the backseat to show them where to park and escorted them to the party. After glimpses of each other through the night (and capturing their very first photos together!) they exchanged numbers and thus, unknowingly, inspired a spark that caught them both by surprise. The term ‘perfect’ is entirely subjective. It’s quite often we find ourselves consumed in the pursuit of perfection. This can happen when you’re seeking the perfect partner, the perfect ring, the perfect proposal… Kelli is a simple gal. She loves Ivan (woohoo!) and adores the beach. When both collided for the moment she would remember forever, nothing could’ve been more blissful and surreal. Prior to the 15th of October, Ivan shared an early morning breakfast with the Srodes’ family to ask for Kelli’s hand in marriage. Fast forward a month through the chaotic coordination to have the ring in time, Ivan and Kelli hit the road for a beach weekend. Unknown to Kelli, they intentionally arrived at the wrong beach on Honeymoon Island where a videographer, a drone pilot, a sunset, and both families were awaiting the question that was 6 years in the making. Turning back around to face Ivan after taking in the serenity of the ocean, Kelli saw him down on one knee. The swell of the moment seemed to overtake all of the surrounding sounds as Ivan asked her to marry him. Without hesitation, she said yes!
