Both are at the same venue-Myers Wedding Barn. 18876 111th Ave. Sperry, IA 52650 The ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoor. For happy hour, there will options for indoor or outdoor activities.
We recommend arriving 15–30 minutes early to find your seat and get settled before the ceremony begins.
Yes! There will be someone to direct you to the ceremony after you have parked in front of where the reception will be held.
We’d love to accommodate everyone, but due to venue capacity, our wedding is by invitation only. Please check your invite to see if a guest is included.
We’re having an unplugged ceremony-please keep phones and cameras tucked away so everyone can be fully present. Our photographer will capture everything beautifully!
Yes! We will offer beer for $3, seltzers for $4, and mixed drinks for $6. It will be a cash only bar, but we will have a Venmo option as well. Remember to tip your bartenders!
While we absolutely love your little ones, we’ve made the difficult decision to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration, with the exception of immediate family. We hope you understand this allows us to keep our guest list intimate and celebrate with those closest to us. Thank you so much for your understanding and support!
BBQ! We’ll be serving up pulled pork and brisket with fresh buns and plenty of BBQ sauce. For sides, enjoy hashbrown casserole, savory green beans, and classic baked beans-comfort food to celebrate the sweetest day!
Semi-formal. Please keep in mind that our goal is to have an outdoor ceremony, and the weather in Iowa at the beginning of May is highly unpredictable. Please dress accordingly.
