Our story began in the summertime at a bonfire in 2018. Dalton came walking over to me while I was standing by the fire and we started carrying on a conversation like we have known each other for years. A couple months passed and our mutual friends gave each other our phone numbers and he came to Nashville to celebrate my birthday. Two years later Dalton proposed at the Grand Canyon when visiting my grandparents. September 2020 came and my father was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer. With being a daddy’s girl it was my dream to have my father by my side down the isle and hand me over to Dalton. We were hopeful but also came to the realization he would not make it to our original wedding date in October 2021. With lots of prayer and guidence we both agreed with my father to have an immediate family wedding ceremony. By the favor of our heavenly father, both of our families, and the venue owners all came together in a week to make this wedding become possible. However, my father went to be with our Lord two days before the wedding. Dalton and I decided to continue with the wedding in my fathers honor. We knew God had everything in place and this was the time to become one under his oath. When we started to speak our vows on the alter a huge gust of wind rested upon us and my fathers spirit assured us he was with us in that moment and forevermore in our hearts. Fast forward to now and we will be using our original wedding date as a huge celebration of our one year of marriage and want everyone we love to share it with us. We are over the moon excited to be with our favorite people in the entire world and are looking forward to dancing the night away with one another. XOXO -Kelli and Dalton
