Alex and Kelli met in Newport Beach at their mutual friend Zach Kadletz's birthday bar golf party. Later that evening they won the bar golf event and became friends. Little did they know what that friendship would turn into and how their paths would cross again later down the road. A few years later, Kelli gets accepted to Teach For America in Dallas and visited all of her friends at TCU, including Alex. Fortunately, Texas was not the place she wanted to live the rest of her life and she moved back to California once the program was complete. Alex moved back to California after graduation and was living and working in LA around that time. It wouldn't be too long until they would meet up again. Zach Kadletz invited friends over to his Newport Beach apartment where the two met again. After a night of partying and live music, Alex and Kelli shared a kiss and Alex asked for Kelli's phone number (side note: Eddie was trying to be super protective over Kelli and tried to get Alex to back off but it didn't work). The next morning, Alex texted Kelli to go on a date. They fell head over heels fast and Alex asked Kelli to be his girlfriend only a couple of months later after a few dates and live concerts. Alex and Kelli's love grew over time, as did their love of traveling. In fact, Alex first said "I love you" to Kelli on the top of the Sydney Bridge when they were visiting Australia together. A couple of years and one pandemic later, Alex proposed to Kelli during their visit to Yellowstone National Park. They can't wait to tie the knot in San Jose Del Cabo, Mexico with all of their family and friends!
