Help! What do I wear?

Answer

Dressy casual to semi-formal with a summer wedding feel. Polished but comfortable is the goal. Suits or sport coats, cocktail dresses, dressy separates, midi styles, or jumpsuits all work beautifully. Ties optional, light fabrics encouraged. Most importantly, wear something you feel great in.

What is the weather like this time of year?

Answer

We’ll be honest… August in New Jersey can be hot and steamy. The good news is Hope sits in the northwestern part of the state with a bit of elevation. Not the PNW mountain elevation many of you enjoy, but enough to help. Expect warm summer temps in the low to mid 80s, a classic NJ summer feel, and cooler evenings once the sun goes down. Last August 20th, in Hope it was a cool 70 degrees...the week before...a scorching 90. Light fabrics encouraged. A layer for later is a smart move.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outside. There is an indoor backup plan should the weather not cooperate. Cocktail hour will be indoor and outdoor while the reception will be indoor.

Is there parking on site?

Yes! Complimentary valet is provided.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we've chosen to make this an adults only celebration.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 5:00 pm. Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 pm. Join us for cocktail hour following the ceremony, with the reception beginning at 7:00 pm.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re planning an unplugged ceremony. Please put phones and cameras away and soak it all in. We promise there will be plenty of time for photos and celebrating afterward.

Is transportation provided?
