Kelli and Riley met in high school while attending Second Baptist Church in Cypress, TX. Kelli was a senior in high school when she began writing and sending out a daily devotional each morning before school to a list of people who subscribed to her daily devo. Riley decided to sign up one day, and the two became fast friends after that. After a couple weeks of texting back and forth about the daily devotional, the conversations soon developed into late night FaceTime calls, and the two eventually started spending time together outside of church. On June 2nd, 2018 Riley asked Kelli's dad for permission to date his daughter. From that moment on, Kelli and Riley have strived to set their relationship on a firm foundation that is centered around Christ. They are able to love each other deeply, because Christ has loved them even deeper. Riley hopes to pursue a job in youth ministry after graduation, but is open to whatever the Lord has for him. Kelli hopes to find a job where she can utilize her administrative talents, and is open to the calling of the Lord. She cares more about serving God and supporting Riley above any job that she may acquire. Kelli and Riley want you to know that they are beyond grateful for each and every one of you. They are excited to begin this new journey together, and to have each of you join them in celebration of what God has done and will continue to do in their lives.
