Maid of Honor
Michaela B. Kelly is the sporty spice of the bunch. Michaela is Jane's eldest younger cousin, de facto younger sister, and best friend. They share a deep love of indie music and going to live shows. Michaela has sense of adventure and a penchant for finding the best secret spots, which has brought endless joy, color, and legendary anecdotes to the Kell(e)y family dinner table. Jane can always count on Michaela to make an aesthetic adventure out of anything-- from climbing a mountain to finding the perfect recipe to make together. Jane feels incredibly lucky to have Michaela by her side as she and Andrew start this new adventure in their life together.
Maid of Honor
Meri is Jane's youngest cousin and the life of the proverbial Kell(e)y family party. The day Meri was born, Jane was gifted an improvisational dance partner, shopping buddy, and built-in best friend. Meri is willing to do anything for the bit and truly matches Jane's energy. Jane and Andrew are endlessly thankful to Meri's selfless decision to become a professional event and wedding planner and her willingness to share that expertise with them over the course of the wedding planning process, and are so excited to dance the night away with her in July!
Bridesmaid
Lindsey and Jane met in Kindergarten and have been best friends since a sleepover in 5th grade sealed the deal. Middle school mall trips, first crushes, prank phone calls, high school proms-- you name it, Jane and Lindsey have done it together. They share a love of bad movies, David Bowie's Labyrinth, and acting sensation Nicolas Cage that is central to not only their friendship, but the friend group they have cultivated over the course of their 27 years of knowing and loving each other. Lindsey is more like family than friend at this point, and statistically has probably made Jane laugh the most out of any human on the planet, so you have some catching up to do ANDREW!!!
Bridesmaid
Emily Jo met Jane senior year of college, where they became fast friends and lamented the fact that they hadn't met earlier in their college careers! They maintained a long distance friendship until Emily Jo joined Jane in NYC in 2015. They spent 5 wonderful years romping around Manhattan having coffee, solving world hunger, and complaining loudly about the prices of dresses in Anthropologie every Sunday before Emily Jo moved to Toronto. Jane is incredibly excited to have Emily Jo joining her from Canada to share in this special day with her.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Jane were a match made in heaven by the hiring gods at the NYC Department of Education. Sarah has been Jane's rock in some of her toughest times and her partner in crime in the good ones. She is so lucky to have worked side by side with Sarah for 5 years, sharing momentous milestones in their lives from Jane's engagement to the birth of Sarah's first child! Jane considers Sarah to be one of the most genuine, caring, funny, and feisty people she has ever met. She can't wait to share this special day with Sarah by her side.
Bridesmaid
Autumn and Jane met in the elevator of their NYC apartment building in 2016. Jane complimented Autumn's shirt, which she had in her own closet, and they became fast friends as they walked each other to the subway to their mirroring brunch dates downtown. Jane doesn't make a habit of making lifelong friends in elevators (okay, actually, it's happened twice), but she is thankful every day that her fashion sense brought her and Autumn together. They have had countless NYC brunch dates of their own, immersive theater excursions, and European adventures in their 9 years of friendship.
Best Man
Andrew and Carl met at the University of Delaware in 2011 and became fast friends after bonding over Marvel superheroes, musical theatre, tennis, and having a high loud laugh. From rooming together in college to their West New York apartment with Zach, they remained close friends, even though Carl (and Zach…and Bruno the dog) ultimately betrayed Andrew to move to Nashville and "pursue his passions," and "become a successful independent artist," and "do what he was always meant to do." After almost 15 years of friendship, Andrew is proud to have a friend like Carl by his side!
Best Man
Perhaps the man responsible for all of this, Zach did Andrew the biggest favor of all time in 2017 when he encouraged Jane to go on a date with Andrew. Andrew and Zach first met in college on a few occasions, but really got to know each other when Andrew moved into the spare room in Carl and Zach's New Jersey apartment in 2017. They quickly became friends exploring Hoboken and New York City together, seeing countless movies using MoviePass, and creating board games- one of which they collectively persuaded Jane to play on their second date! Andrew's proud to have Zach as half of his Best Man party!
Groomsman
Gourmand extraordinaire, audiophile, and best big brother of the bride there ever was. James has always been there for Jane, teaching her about the finer things in life as a child (like X-Men, Star Wars, Wild berry Poptarts, and the best underground bands). James welcomed Andrew into their family with open arms and bonded with him over a love of board games and music! They are both very thankful to have James standing up in their wedding and sharing in this momentous occasion with them.
Groomsman
Eric has been Andrew’s younger brother his entire life- and most of Andrew’s! Growing up they spent countless hours playing video games and spending time together in all the different states they lived in. Andrew is thrilled to have his brother by his side!
Groomsman
Andrew Stieglitz burst into a kitchen in London on November 15th, 2012, visiting a friend while he on an abroad program in Spain, and emphatically sang a stranger happy birthday so he could get in on a slice of that birthday cake action. Little did he know, he'd be taking that girl's engagement photos 12 years later! Stieglitz is a stand up guy and a stand up comedian, the first person to revive his pals in Fortnite, and a great friend to both Jane and Andrew.
Officiant
Brian has been one of Jane's best friends and biggest supporters for as long as she can remember. They met in kindergarten, when (as Brian likes to recall, but Jane has conveniently forgotten), Jane knocked over Brian's carefully constructed block tower. Brian and Jane grew up singing in after school programs together, playing basketball, working the candy counter at Fidelity House, and having every single class together for the majority of their lives (except for foreign language)! She cannot think of a person she would rather have as the officiant to her wedding!
