Elizabeth and Kyle met the way all great modern love stories begin—under the fluorescent lights of Target. Well, after Elizabeth had told the cute PML that the lights were out in her area, only to come in the next day to see that Kyle had changed out all the burnt out lights for her first thing in the morning. Kyle had been working there for a while when Elizabeth joined the team, and somewhere between stocking shelves and clocking out, something just clicked. The first date was exactly what you might expect from Kyle and Elizabeth: They met up for a beer at bowl-a-vard after work one night which somehow led to the two of them playing chess at the bar (because who doesn't keep a chess board in their car?) But, this was trivia night, so when the clock struck 7 Elizabeth started her exit but not without extending the invite to Kyle first. He enthusiastically followed her on the drive over to Lulu's 13 Pub and they found their seat at the new bar and readied for trivia. Elizabeth couldn't hide her shock and excitement as Kyle got almost every single answer correct. She knew she had found her lifelong trivia teammate and much much more. They’ve been together since July 6, 2019, and after six years of love, laughter, and a lot of snacks, they’re thrilled to be getting married on their anniversary. As for the proposal... Kyle had a vision: a snowy winter hike with friends, a stunning overlook at Eagle’s Wing, the family cabin, and the perfect moment to pop the question. Except—Elizabeth doesn’t hike in the snow. So, instead of the scenic view, the group found themselves walking down a driveway with frozen toes and red noses.
