we're tying the knot (again!)

They were both students at Elim Bible Institute and College. They got to know each other through working together in the kitchen and at BASICCON. There was a glance here or there during the school year recognizing each others’ attractiveness, but it was nothing serious...yet. Their friendship grew stronger through working together as part of summer crew. Apparently, if you stick two people to work alone together in College Hall almost every day for a month, they start to get attracted to each other. They started talking less about work and more about each other. They realized they had a lot in common and really enjoyed each other’s company. Once school started, however, she had to go to New York City for five weeks. He made sure to text her every single day, though, to check in on her. As if his affections for her weren’t obvious enough, he even drove six hours to the city to see her for two hours, only to drive another six hours back. Eventually, she came back from the Big Apple, but he still wouldn’t share his very obvious feelings for her. She was too stubborn to admit her feelings either, even to herself. After a longgg time of texting all the time and flirting, he finally asked her out. A little while after that, they started dating, and the rest is history!

They were on a date and when they got back to campus after dinner, he asked if she wanted to go for a walk. She said yes. It was not the only time that day she would say yes... So, they set off. While they were walking, he began asking her a series of random questions about life. At one point during their walk, they made it to the flags near the church, where he asked her what song she wanted to dance to at that moment (becuase, he knew she loved to dance). After their dance at the flags, they continued their walk and he continued his questions. Eventually, they made it to the gazebo on campus. They sat down and kept talking. After a while, he stood up and grabbed her by the hands, taking her with him just outside the gazebo. He kissed her and reached in his pocket. When he pulled away he said, “There’s one more question I want to ask you.” He got on one knee and made a cute speech neither of them remember, but it was basically something about how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Then he asked “Kelsey, will you marry me?” And you all know what she said from there...
