There are many AirBNB and VRBO options on Lake Como. The towns surrounding the center of the lake (Bellagio) are the ones we would recommend for easy ferry access. These central villages/towns include: Bellagio, Tremezzo, Tremezzina, Mennagio, Lenno, and Varenna.

Milan Malpensa or Milan Linate Airports are the closest to Lake Como. We recommend arriving in Milan by Sunday or Monday to give yourself time to enjoy the lake before the welcome party on Tuesday. Car transfers and train options are available from Milan to the City of Como.

While rental cars are available at Milan Malpensa and Linate Airports, we recommend either a car transfer (Uber is widely available) or train from Milan to the city of Como as the ferry (or private boat) experience arriving to your destination on the lake is spectacular.

Italia Rail train is an easy option from the central Milan train station to the city of Como (Como San Giovanni train station). It is a short walk (5-10 minutes) from the Como train station to the Lake Como Ferry docks or there are Uber & cab options available.
