Answer

Medications including but not limited to Ritalin, Adderall, Wellbutrin, Prozac, Paxil, & Zoloft are considered illegal in Italy. Please copy and paste the link below into your browser. You will need a document signed and stamped by your prescriber. Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Formal attire. We can't wait to see you all looking stunning in the Italian country side! (There will be gravel so please choose your shoes accordingly).

Question

What travel documentation is required to visit Italy?

Answer

A passport issued within the last 10 years, that is valid for at least 6 months after departing from Italy. A passport card is not accepted as a passport. Your passport must have at least 2 blank pages. *A visa is not required if your visit is less than 90 days.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

We recommend you rent a car which can be easily done at the airport (plan to book your car ahead). If you do not feel comfortable driving, you may also rent a personal driver. In Italy, you drive on the right side of the road (same as here). Renting a car will allow you to explore more of Italy, if that is what you wish to do! You will need an international permit to drive in Italy. Please follow the directions on this website to obtain your permit. (AAA members get the best deal for passport photos and driving permits call your local store for more info.) https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html We are renting a car from Hertz! Also pre-booked train tickets to get to our honeymoon location.

Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) in Florence is the closest airport; a 50-minute drive from the town of Loro Ciuffenna. Many family and friends have booked their flight to Rome to get the best deal.

Places we have visited and highly recommend are: Florence (50 minutes by car from our wedding venue), San Gimignano (about an hour and a half by car from our wedding venue), and Montepulciano (about an hour and ten minutes by car from our wedding venue).
