Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We can't tell you exactly what to wear, but we would love for everyone to use our wedding as an excuse to get all dressed up! Our dress code is Garden Party Formal- think chic, colorful, and outdoor-friendly. Feel free to accessorize with fun textures, patterns, or seasonal touches. At the end of the day, all we ask is for no denim and no mini dresses/mini skirts. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a date or plus one? What about my kids?

Answer

While we are truly looking forward to celebrating our special day with all of you, we are not able to accommodate all plus-ones and children. Attendees should be limited to anyone specifically listed on the invitation and RSVP list. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time (4:00 ET, so 3:30-3:40 ET) to make sure you find parking and can make your way to your seat. We can't wait to see you there!

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

For the ceremony, there is free parking for our guests located through the back entrance of the church, off of Cherokee Street (see map above)! You can enter the parking through either Church Street or Cherokee (it will be towards the rear of the property if you enter on Church Street). Signs will be posted around the church to guide you to parking and the entrance of the Chapel! For the cocktail hour and reception, the gardens are located right next to the Marietta Hilton/City Club Marietta and we will be using their lot. When you turn into their parking lot, make your first right and park in the far right corner, near the entrance of the gardens. There will be signs near the entrance. We can't wait to celebrate with you! While there will be enough parking for everyone at both locations, carpooling or ride sharing is encouraged since the Marietta Square gets busy on the weekends.

Question

Why is there a gap in the schedule?

Answer

There is a 30-minute gap in between the ceremony and cocktail hour to accommodate travel from the church to the gardens. Although the drive is only about 5 minutes, we expect the 30 minutes will be enough time to get everyone from point A to point B.

Question

Will there be any vegetarian or gluten-free options for dinner?

Answer

Yes! We will have an option that doubles as vegetarian and gluten-free. If you are gluten-free but would like a meat option, you can grab some from the other trays available!
