In the summer of 2014, two health and PE teachers went on an interview that would change the course of their lives. Kelley was reading over her notes in the main office when she saw a handsome guy leave the interviewing room and she thought to herself, "I really hope they are not female principals conducting the interviews, because he is too good looking to compete with." Well it turned out to be no competition because there was a second PE teacher position that opened up that day. It is up for debate to who really got the job and who got the second hire...

After a month into the school year, Brendan and Kelley had yet to run into each other. Kelley was still sadden by her departure of her NYC living and adjusting to the lovely commute. Brendan was getting use to the post college life and being at home. And then it happened. Kelley was making copies early one Monday morning (what copies does a PE teacher make?) when Brendan walked by on his way out to the elementary school and quickly stopped. With that handsome smile and gentleman charm he sparked up some conversation. After catching up on their first month of teaching, Kelley excused herself for being a little "tired" from her Grandmother's birthday party.
