Flight

Santa Maria Airport

There is a direct flight from Las Vegas to Santa Maria on Thursdays, and there is a direct flight from Santa Maria to Las Vegas on Sundays. If you can get onto those connecting flights, you will avoid the need to travel once you arrive into town! Call me if you have any questions about this!

San Luis Obispo Airport / Santa Barbara Airport

If you cannot catch a flight into Santa Maria, I would highly recommend that you consider flying into Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo. Flying into these airports will cost a little more money but you will gain invaluable convenience and ease by doing so.

LAX Airport

Flying into LAX is certainly the cheapest travel option, and if you choose to do so, I would consider either renting a car, taking the Amtrak, or taking the LAX Airbus to Goleta, and then hitching a ride the rest of the way with someone who has flown into Santa Barbara. I personally do not recommend this travel itinerary, but the best course of action is to rent a car for convenience and ease. Be prepared for heavy traffic! But the drive is beautiful. :)

If you feel like experiencing premiere central coast luxury, I would recommend looking into staying at this hotel! I used to work in the restaurant and can attest to the beauty of the scenery, the accommodations, and the room service. They also have an amazing pool.
