In November 2021, we both started as new graduate nurses at MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center in Laguna Hills. Cole was hired as a telemetry nurse, and Kelley was hired as a labor and delivery nurse. Cole sat behind Kelley throughout the hospital orientation, making snarky jokes that thoroughly entertained Kelley during the lengthy and tedious classes. We would see each other every few weeks after our initial orientation for our new graduate nurse residency courses, but the relationship remained strictly professional. Although we connected at the beginning of our careers, we didn't make a romantic connection until Kelley came across Cole's Hinge dating profile in February 2022. Kelley was passing time during her 2 am lunch break and scrolled by a very familiar (and handsome) face. After calling her friend Katie for a pep talk, Kelley mustered the courage to "swipe right" and was shocked to see that we had matched. We planned our first date shortly after, meeting for dinner on February 21, 2022. It was an instant connection. We began officially dating on April 2, 2022. We haven't been apart since. After a two year and three month-long relationship, Cole proposed to Kelley on July 26, 2024 at one of their favorite beaches, Corona Del Mar. We celebrated our engagement at a beautiful dinner afterwards with both of our wonderful families in tow. We are so excited to have you be a part of our special day!
