What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4pm. Please arrive between 3:30pm and 3:45pm to provide time for parking. There will be some road closures in the area to prepare for a festival on Saturday, so driving may take some extra time.

Where can I park?

Answer

There should be ample free street parking at the time of our event. Please note that street parking in La Jolla is enforced until 6pm, and that different streets have anywhere from 15 minute to unlimited time limits. We have found that "Eads Ave" has many unlimited-time parking spots, and that there are several 3 hours spots near the intersection of "Silver Ave and Draper Ave", two blocks from the venue. Please do not park in garages that state "NO OVERNIGHT PARKING" as many of them do lock overnight. NOTE: PLEASE FOLLOW ALL STREET PARKING SIGNS. The local police are quick to issue tickets.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and aftery-party will be outdoors (weather permitting). The dinner / reception will be indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

October in San Diego is typically beautiful, with an average high of 73 degrees. That said, we will be near the ocean and there is always the chance of a cool sea breeze as the sun starts to go down.

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail / Semi-Formal attire. Keep in mind that it could be cool outdoors for the ceremony.
