Our first date was at Magnolia Brewery in San Francisco, a spot I chose with a little strategy—my friend worked there, so I had a backup plan in case the night didn’t go as hoped. Rich was 15 minutes late, but as soon as we met, all my nerves melted away. The conversation flowed effortlessly as we talked about everything—dreams, laughter, stories—and before we knew it, the staff was practically urging us out as last call arrived. What began as a chance encounter quickly evolved into something much more. Rich’s insatiable curiosity, his wide range of hobbies, and the way he always thought of others kept me captivated. And I would like to think that my kindness, adventurous spirit, and even my impressive baking skills won him over completely. But it was a day at Princeton Jetty that truly solidified our connection. Rich introduced me to boogie boarding, and we spent the afternoon laughing and riding waves. When a powerful wave knocked me down, Rich was right there, steadying me and helping me up without hesitation. In that moment, I realized I hadn’t just found a partner in adventure—I had found someone I could trust, no matter what. Since then, our story has been filled with both grand moments and quiet ones. From shared adventures to peaceful nights at home, our love has only deepened with time. It’s never been about perfection or grand gestures, but about finding joy in the simple, everyday moments—side by side, one day at a time. We’re thrilled to spend the rest of our lives together and can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you at our wedding.
