Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There is limited availability left at the Edgewater Hotel. However, we do have a room block at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. See the "Travel" page to find the link. There will be shuttles to and from the event for all of our guests. We highly recommend staying there as it's a home football game & we got a fixed rate.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes. There is valet parking available all evening ($32) and a parking garage ($4/hr) connected to The Edgewater Hotel.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Black-tie attire (optional): Dress to impress! Tuxes or suits for men, and gowns or elevated cocktail dresses for women. We want our people looking their best.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We kindly ask that guests arrive at least 15 minutes early. There will be passed champagne for guests.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

Yes! We are so excited to get married right on Lake Mendota. Fingers crossed the weather holds up on this beautiful September date. The reception will be inside in the Grand Ballroom.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate that on your RSVP. The kitchen is happy to accommodate everything.
