I Chose Me

I met Me.... (The Heart and Soul of Me) many years ago and didn’t think much of it at the time. My journey of self-love began in 2013, I’ve learned so much about myself and because self-love is something I have always striven to cultivate into my life, I’ve chosen to take this adventure. It’s not always been easy, but with practice and awareness, it’s become not only easier but an absolute joy. It’s something this world needs a lot more of because once you love yourself, it’s way easier to spread love to all those around you.

On Mother’s Day 2019, I went on my very own “Mother’s Day Adventure”. Three hours into my adventure after a makeover and stopping by many stores just because i wanted to, I walked past a bridal shop and thought “I can’t go in there”. I continued to walk past the shop and my immediate thought was “Why Not!” . I turned around and went back into the bridal shop and tried on and chose my dress and set my intentions on having my ceremony. The song that was playing was “Forever” by Jason Nelson Forever is a long time That's how long I'll love you That's how long I'll love you Forever Its was so perfect. When the music died down, I looked at myself in the mirror and realized i finally knew the love i had for Me! I’m so excited to celebrate this next chapter in my life with you. See you in Atlanta!
