What is the dress code?
Answer
For the guests, anything that is comfortable to you. We don't want to dictate what our guest want to wear. The bridal party will be in formal wear. The bridesmaids will be in Burgundy and the Groomsmen will be in Navy blue suits. Of course please no full white or silver.

Are kids allowed?

We ask that young (under 10) children that are not within the ceremony stay home. Thank you for understanding. If you have any concerns please reach out to us.

Are there room blocks available?
Answer
Yes we have room blocks under the Slingluff/McKnight Wedding at Holiday Inn Suites in McKinney N Allen in 3220 Craig Dr, McKinney, TX 75070. Guest must either call the hotel at (469) 952-2044 and referring to the group name block or use the website https://www.holidayinn.com/redirect?path=rates&brandCode=HI&localeCode=en®ionCode=1&hotelCode=mcktx&checkInDate=23&checkInMonthYear=042024&checkOutDate=26&checkOutMonthYear=042024&_PMID=99801505&GPC=ssk&cn=no&viewfullsite=true The group rate they can offer is $139.00 per night plus 14% occupancy tax. This rate would apply to our double queen and king guest rooms. We think there is an additional discount if you are in the military but please let them know. The Cut-off date: May 2nd at 9:00am central time.

Is there a shuttle service from the hotel to the venue?

The Holiday Inn Suites in McKinney N Allen @ 3220 Craig Dr, McKinney, TX 75070 Has shuttles, however for the first shuttle the total amount is $400, additional shuttle is for $100. this includes round trips, which is to and from the venue and can comfortably seat 11 but a max of 22 personnel. This is a range from $19 to $37+ per person. If you are interested in this please reach out to us and we can coordinate the shuttle and keep you informed of any changes.
