Our Story

When Yudita and KC look back on how everything began, one thing is clear, God is far too kind. Their story is living proof that His plans are always better than their own. Yudita first saw KC during a church service where he was leading worship. She remembers praying quietly afterward, “Lord, I hope to be with someone whose worship reveals a genuine heart for You.” Their first meeting took place at a housewarming party hosted by a mutual friend. They exchanged a few conversations, played rounds of Connect Four, and shared some laughter. Over the next several months, they would occasionally see each other at Bible studies always exchanging friendly hellos and brief chats. As time went on, Yudita noticed how much they had in common similar cultures, the same sense of humor, and a shared love for music. By the end of Yudita’s time in Cincinnati, KC had become a trusted friend. Someone she could always count on, whose kindness and sincerity shone through in everything he did. Their friendship grew naturally, and somewhere along the way, KC discovered that Yudita could sing. He invited her to collaborate on a song for his album, and together they created something special, music that reflected their shared heart for worship and creativity. When Yudita eventually moved back to Missouri, KC assumed that chapter had closed. But God had other plans. During one of the most difficult seasons of his life, a time when he had stepped away from music and was battling doubt, Yudita became a source of strength and encouragement. She reminded him of the words God had spoken over his life and urged him not to give up. Her faith rekindled his own. God told KC whoever he would end up with would make him feel like home, and Yudita was home for him. In time, they both realized what they shared was more than friendship. After honest conversations and prayer, they acknowledged their feelings for one another. Soon after, KC flew to Missouri to ask Yudita to be his girlfriend, a moment that felt almost like a proposal in itself. From then on, their relationship blossomed. Through laughter, prayer, and intentional time together, they realized they were building something lasting, something sacred. What they had both been praying for was right in front of them. All of this led to the beautiful moment when KC asked Yudita to be his wife. And with a heart full of peace, she said yes. Their story is, and always will be, an expression of God’s kindness and a reminder that He writes the most beautiful love stories in His perfect timing.
