We're getting married!

Ben and Kelcie met through a mutual friend and started off as friends for a very long time. They kept in touch over the years. They hung out in 2015 while Kelcie was going to Bemidji State and Ben was working there for a couple of days. Kelcie thought nothing of it and just thought of Ben as a very good friend. Ben apparently wanted more but never made any hints, only a hug after he walked her to the car, which Kelcie thought he was just being a nice guy. Eventually, they ended up hanging out just the two of them on opener of fishing in May of 2020.

Ben and Kelcie started dating on memorial weekend in 2020. Ben asked her in the boat while fishing to be his girlfriend and of course she said yes. They made many memories together throughout the year and a half they were dating including having a son together. Fast forward to December 10th, 2021 Ben came up to Kelcie’s apartment for the weekend. He was down on his knee in her room and caught her completely off guard that she didn’t believe it was true! She said yes to forever with her best friend and they can’t wait to celebrate the day with you!
