It’s finally happening!

What started out as a simple "happy birthday" message, turned into our forever. After coming home from college, we crossed paths at the gym, where we saw each regularly after that. He would ask "what are you working out today?" My response was always "everything!" (How original.) Then comes our first date. (Which Kelby thought would be our only date. Little did he know!) Summer ended, classes resumed, and our relationship blossomed without either of us realizing what the future held. & what was once thought to be a summer fling, ended up being four and a half years of nonstop laughter, long nights, and unconditional love. New Years Eve 2019 was the day that changed it all. We had just gotten back from Kansas City and he secretly already had our plans set for the evening. My clothes were picked out-- ready to go (down to the heels!). We met up with friends at an upscale italian restaurant and I could sense that Kelby was nervous about something. We hurried off to Crystal Bridges to see the North Forest Lights. We stood below the Whispering Tree, where he professed his love for me in the microphone! When he got on one knee, it was so surreal. I screamed YES before he even got the words out! Here we are now, impatiently planning for the next step! We are beyond excited to share our love for each other in front of all of our loved ones. We cannot wait for June 26th!
