Ok team, we need you guys to be flexible and prepared for ANYTHING! Because this is an outdoor wedding, in October, in Colorado, the weather can be extremely unpredictable - sunny and beautiful or snowy and beautiful. Either way, we recommend coming equipped with suitable, warm outerwear and an umbrella (just in case!). The ceremony will take place at Maroon Lake in the grass. There will be benches/chairs for the grandparents and moms with babies. Due to a vehicle fee of $10 to enter the area, we'd appreciate it if all of our guests could work out carpooling arrangements, meeting at the location of the reception and going from there! We will cover the fee. We're all about rad adventures and taking on whatever comes our way, making wonderful memories through rain, snow or shine. (But prayers for sunny, perfect weather are APPRECIATED!!!) We've talked through the risk of having this type of wedding, so no need to bring it up to us :-)

If you haven't noticed, we're not one for mega traditions. Our "reception" is more of a massive hang out with our favorite people ever. We will be having breakfast for dinner (because who doesn't love that) and other than some toasts and special dances, this is an agenda-free time for all of us to be together and simply enjoy this special day.
