We're Getting Married!

Gary and I ministered together often at Christian Healing Ministries, and we shared mutual friends who made several attempts to get us together, but it took awhile for us to truly be ready to begin a relationship. God's timing is everything, and we are so grateful!

Our first date was four and a half hours at Starbucks, sharing stories and discovering common ground, laughing and listening, and genuinely enjoying each other's company. (Neither one of us drink coffee, by the way!) When we finally parted ways at 10:00pm, I realized I had never eaten dinner! I went to Taco Bell, then headed home and stayed awake for hours, too excited to fall asleep.

Gary scheduled 3 special dates with me and let me know he would be proposing during one of them. On the first night of the 3 dates, he took me to an oceanfront restaurant where we had an amazing view of the sunset during dinner. After we finished eating, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! Afterwards, we went to our friends' home where a group of our family and friends were waiting (total surprise for me) to celebrate our engagement with us. It was an absolutely perfect night! We are so excited to share our special day with you! See you in Jacksonville!
