Have you ever had a friend that told you they had the "perfect" person to set you up with, and you blew it off because that never actually works out? Well thankfully for us, our friend Sam has a second career in matchmaking! It all started the Summer of 2014. Sam and I (Kejel), were working together at KIDS Camp when Sam claimed she had the "perfect" guy to set me up with (Insert eye roll). She texted what she thought was Alex, letting him know of this amazing matchup, but it turned out to be his MOM that she texted instead. So there went that idea............JK Fast forward two months, Sam brought a couple of us coworkers to a Packers Pre-Season game that Alex and his friends happened to be at as well. Randomly running into each other in the concourse, Sam was finally able to introduce us. After the game we ended up reconnecting at Stadium View where he gathered the courage to ask me to dance. For the rest of the night you could find us out on the slimy, alcohol coated dance floor, lost in our own little (probably drunk) world. Before we parted ways, Alex was smart enough to remember to ask me for my number. The next day he texted me the ever so clever, "Wow, my legs are really sore haha!" Questioning to myself, is that really the first thing this guy is going to text me, I decided to continue the conversation because lets face it, my legs were actually pretty sore too. From then on we were inseparable, on and off the dance floor! In July of 2015 we purchased our first house (duplex) together where we currently live. April of 2016 we decided to grow our little family by getting our dog child, Willow. October 1st, 2016, Alex decided to lock me in! June 30th, 2018, we make it official!
