The entire university is holding their graduation ceremonies this weekend so hotels will book up and be priced higher than normal. We strongly recommend booking your hotel room as far in advance as possible. Things are booking up quickly!

Champaign is small so anything you find in Champaign or Urbana would work. Decatur is about an hour's drive and you can probably get something there for a more reasonable rate if things have gotten crazy in C-U.
Travel Note
Airports
Champaign does have an airport—Willard Airport (CMI). It only has direct flights in and out of Dallas and Chicago but it eliminates the long drive. Your other options are Chicago (ORD or MDW), Indianapolis, or St. Louis. All are roughly the same distance.
