How do we get from the airport to the hotel?

Answer

Once you exit the Puerto Vallarta airport, there is a line for taxis that will take you safely to the hotel. The fee will be about $10 USD. There is a bar outside of the airport so you're more than welcome to grab a beer while you wait in line! If this task seems daunting to you please reach out to me! I can work on another option for you if this seems like an unappealing option.

USD vs. Peso? What do I bring?

Answer

Ultimately, it is up to you! I recommend exchanging USD for Pesos at your local bank prior to travelling. That way you are prepped & ready to rock n' roll on arrival to Puerto Vallarta. I would avoid the money exchange kiosks at the airport. Most importantly, do what is comfortable for you!

What if I am bringing my kids (under age 18)?

Answer

Dreams Vallarta Bay is an attached resort that offers the same amenities as Secrets Vallarta Bay and is connected to Secrets Resort. Dreams resort allows people under 18 years old. Whereas Secrets resort does not allow anyone under the age of 18. Fear not! People staying at Secrets are able to go over to the Dreams side and explore all of the amenities and restaurants for FREE. While if you are planning to stay at Dreams you are still able to come visit the Secrets side, but there is a daily fee. Feel free to reach to me if you still have questions!

What's with this "Preferred Club" thing I keep seeing?

The preferred club is a section of the hotel that is for you if you are ready to experience an even higher level of luxury. Enjoy an upgraded suite, access to an exclusive lounge, special concierge service and other enhanced amenities. The lounge includes a private bar with a bartender and a complimentary buffet that is available 24/7.
