We're getting married!

It all began in 2019, when a simple online connection turned into something extraordinary. Keith and Nailah met for the first time at Zapata's Mexican Restaurant at the Boardwalk in the University area — a day that marked the beginning of their forever. After weeks of getting to know each other, Keith knew Nailah was someone special. He asked her to be his girlfriend. Nailah wasn’t ready just yet — but Keith’s patience and their growing connection made the timing perfect when he asked again. A year later, their bond had grown deeper than either could have imagined. On the snowy ski slopes of Beech Mountain in January 2020, Keith asked Nailah once again to be his girlfriend. Surrounded by the crisp mountain air, she said yes without hesitation. Shortly after making things official, they began meeting each other's families. Keith braced himself after learning of Nailah's father's Marine and police background, but Andre and Robin welcomed him with warmth, great conversation and open arms. Keith, originally from Metro- Atlanta brought Nailah home to meet his family soon after. Rosa proudly pulled out all of Keith's baby pictures, and Lester shared stories from his childhood - a sweet time of reminiscing and laughter. Keith and Nailah are perfect complements to one another — Keith’s outgoing nature brings light and energy, while Nailah’s calm presence adds warmth and balance. Their relationship is built on friendship, laughter and genuine connection. They spend their days together at the gym, running errands to their favorite spots like Costco and the Farmer's Market, and planning their next adventure. Nailah's love for travel has had Keith taking more trips than he ever imagined. Together, they have gone to Mexico, Jamaica, Bahamas, Vegas, San Diego, Denver, and many more. Rest assured, there is plenty more on Nailah's international itinerary LOL. Together, they’ve shared countless adventures — including purchasing their first home in Charlotte in 2022. Keith provided the structure, while Nailah turned the house into a home. Fast forward to April 2025 — a trip to Cozumel, Mexico had the happy couple returning to the states with a ring and a new title of fiancé— their next chapter officially began. Keith and Nailah's love story is a reminder that true love is found not only in grand gestures, but in the quiet moments shared between two hearts perfectly aligned.
