Wedding Party

Meet our friends and family who are walking down the aisle with us.

MacKenzie Morris

Maid of Honor

I'm privileged enough to have my little sister as my Maid of Honor. She has always been very protective of me and has never hesitated to voice her opinion. But most importantly, she has always been my biggest cheerleader. Living halfway across the country from each other is difficult, so we spend countless hours on facetime just hanging out. I love watching her grow in her own beautiful relationship. I'm so proud of her daily, and I'm so proud to have her stand by my side on my big day.

Zak Sobieralski

Best Man

Zak is my best friend first and my brother second. Zak and I are 13 months apart, so growing up together was like growing up with a sleepover every night. We lived in different states for a couple years, and after living together in Austin for the last 2 years, I cannot imagine living far apart again. Zak comes to the party with a great sense of humor, and is proficient in hamming it up for middle aged women. He keeps me inspired on tough days and I love and trust him beyond words.

Lauren Banahan

Bridesmaid

Technically we met in elementary school, but our friendship really grew when we both arrived at lovely Chico State. This amazing woman has kept me alive on more than one occasion, always is the voice of reason, and comes through with so much support and love just when you need it most. Anytime spent with her will also have you in stitches laughing the whole time. I was lucky enough to stand by her side last summer when she married her man, now I'm honored to have her return favor and stand by me on my day.

Eric Forslund

Groomsman

Eric was my first "best friend". We met shortly after he moved to Hums Elementary from South Bend and our bond has stayed strong throughout the years and miles that separate us. I admire Eric for his strength to face any challenge in life. He's been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and we've been there for eachother through each crazy phase in our lives. When you're sitting there, melting in the Texas sun, wondering why the ceremony hasn't started, it is probably because Eric is running 5 minutes late... but damnit, his hair will look great.

Casey Burke

Bridesmaid

About 11.5 years ago, Casey Burke walked into her dorm room in Whitney Hall and thought to herself "Oh my god" as she stared around in horror at the overflow of pink pillows and cheerleading pictures. The good news is that first impression didn't scare her off completely and I'm lucky enough to still have her as one of my best friends all these years later. Neither of us are the same person as we were the day we met, but it has been an amazing journey becoming adults and figuring out life with this amazing gal by my side. Now I'm so thankful to have her stand with me to witness this next step.

Nick Schrader

Groomsman

Nick and I met when my childhood Siberian Husky got stranded in the river just outside of his house when I was 5 or 6 years old. We were more of casual friends, until our Senior year of high school when we really hit it off. Nick and I's friendship has gotten stronger with time and I truly consider him a brother. I admire Nick for his adventurous soul. Nick brings the party with him wherever he goes. I'd take a bullet for him, and at least on one occasion, have taken a sucker punch for him.

Allison Dupzyk

Bridesmaid

Allie was my first friend, not just because we were born into the same family but because we are kindred spirits. Growing up we were always dreaming about our futures and who we wanted to become as adults. It's pretty odd to realize that now we are those adults we dreamed about becoming. It has been so awesome seeing my amazing cousin thrive in life and witnessing the love between her and her husband (yay Mick!) and now I get to have her with me while I marry my person.

Alex White

Groomsman

Al and I's friendship goes back to middle school and, like Nick and I's friendship, really elevated in our Senior year of high school and has aged well with time. Al is the definition of a giver, and would go to the end of the earth for his friends. I was proud to stand by him on his wedding day earlier this year, and am proud to have him stand by me for mine. No matter how much distance separates us, Al is great about staying in touch, even when the rest of us get caught up too deeply in adult life. Mallory and I's day would not feel right without Al White.

Laura Ashley Harris

Bridesmaid

Commonly referred to as Marg. Wow, we began our friendship back in Girl Scouts in 1st grade. Through countless hours of camping, sewing, and staying up all night talking about anything and everything we developed a friendship that everyone strives for. Weeks and months can pass us by so quickly, but the second we start talking it's like no time has passed at all. She is truly my soul sister and we just get each other without any explanation needed. It just wouldn't be right if she wasn't by my side on this important day.

Frank Kuespert

Groomsman

Franklin is as cool as the other side of the pillow. I stood by him on his wedding day this year, and during the reception, a 1000lb barn door fell off the hinges. Frank was as cool as they come, keeping everyone calm when in fact, it should have been him losing his mind. I don't know how he managed to even have the energy to stay cool, as he didn't stop dancing for 4 hours. He knows when to turn it up, but knows when his role needs to change. This is how he approaches friendship too. He's a fun-loving guy, but won't hesitate to listen when you need to talk, or to call you on your shit. I admire Frank for his commitment to his family. He's a great friend.

Maria Eklund (Roach)

Bridesmaid

Mia has been planning my wedding since junior high school. The very day Keith and I got engaged, she sent me about 12 links of ideas, obviously most of them incorporating Harry Potter. We always joke that whenever I would get in trouble growing up I would be grounded from everything, except Maria and Laura, because they were my sisters after all and not just friends. She has accompanied me to many family reunions and whenever she would come home from vacations her parents would drop her off at my house straight from the airport before going home. I love watching her family grow, and now I can't wait to have her stand with me while my family begins.

Theon

Flower Boi

Theon joined our family on the night of our very first date! He is shy, king of the side eye, and likes his personal space. However once he decides to like you he is the most energetic, playful and loving little monster. He would absolutely hate people looking at him during the ceremony so he won't be present at that time, however he will be at the venue over the weekend and you may just catch sight of him if you watch closely.
