We met on a dating app called Zoosk. We texted for a few days before we both decided that it would be better to talk. After a week or so decided to meet in person for a date… we were in different cities about 2 hours apart. Keith being the gentleman offered to drive from Waterloo to Des Moines for our first meeting. We decided to meet at the Art Center and then go from there. We literally met at the corner of the building with him holding a bouquet of flowers!! My first thought “ pinch me is he for real??😊😊” It was an unusually warm day for January so after walking around the Art Center, decided to continue our date to the East Village in Des Moines, went to Up Down and played old video games and pinball. We were both enjoying each other’s company and went to get some early dinner. We ended up closing the bar/restaurant. This was the best 12 hour date ever… the rest as they say is history.
