We travelled to Venice for a romantic weekend just after Valentine’s Day 2024, wandering hand in hand through the narrow cobbled streets and along the quiet canals, completely wrapped up in the magic of the city. As the sun set over the water, we made our way to a beautiful Michelin-starred restaurant, where we enjoyed the most incredible, intimate dinner together in our own private room. After dinner, we were led into another private room for drinks and dessert — and that’s when everything changed. The room had been transformed with roses scattered all around and glowing heart-shaped lights casting the softest, most romantic glow. It felt like something out of a dream. In that perfect, unforgettable moment, Keith took my hands, looked at me with so much love, and got down on one knee to ask the most important question of our lives. It was the easiest “yes” I have ever said.
