Keith and I met on March 1, 2023, after we both took a chance on love. I’m sure Keith realized pretty quickly that he had met a horse-crazy girl, though he probably never imagined he’d one day become a “horse/pony dad.” And I certainly never expected to become a “cat stepmom.” When we met, life was already complicated on my end. Dating later in life comes with its own set of obstacles, but no matter what curveball was thrown our way, we always supported and helped each other through it. Early on, we were supposed to meet for dinner when I received a picture of the current weather and a text that read, “We need to go to the farm and change blankets before dinner.” In that moment, I knew without a doubt that he was my forever guy. That’s just one example of the kind, thoughtful, and loving man he is. We’re the silly couple that takes things in stride and tries to laugh even when life gets hard. Along the way, we created our own traditions—fajita night, signature cocktails, and “feast night.” Over the years, our partnership has only grown stronger. Then, on a Caribbean cruise on December 1, 2025, Keith proposed and made me the happiest person in the world. The backstory makes it even sweeter: on our first cruise, during formal night photos, the photographer asked if I had a ring to show. I laughed and said, “Not yet.” This year, on what I thought was just a birthday cruise, Keith completely surprised me by proposing during formal night photos. He had secretly planned everything while I was at guest services! Our proposal and engagement were captured in real time, making it truly the trip of a lifetime. I’m so excited to spend the rest of my life with this incredible man. He’s still my best find online ❤️
