Happily Ever Lanier

We met through Keith’s cousin Jordan. Eevee had worked with Jordan at Sacred Heart since December 2020. She invited Eevee for her birthday dinner out at the Hilton on Pensacola beach, where Keith is the F&B manager. We exchanged numbers and the very next Saturday, we were on our first date.

Let me pretext with saying: Every night that Keith works, he would text me a picture of the sunset from the same spot, since about July. It had been a rough couple of weeks with work and other, and Keith decided we needed to have dinner on the beach and a sunset walk to relieve the stress. So Sunday night finally arrived and we started with dinner at Crab's so the boys could play and be entertained. After dinner, we walked down the beach towards the Hilton, as Keith had told me he needed to get something that he had left in the office. As we were walking up to the gazebo, Keith grabbed my hand and got down on his knee. It took me quite a few moments to realize what was happening. Of course, I said yes when he asked! It was only after the proposal and I heard the cheering, that I realized that not only was my family present but so was his. He had called the week or so prior to dinner and set the whole thing up with them. And he proposed at the location where we first met back in January.
